VALENCIA, CA: July 1, 1996—Solid Concepts, Inc. announced today that Tom Vorgitch joins the Company as vice president of marketing. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience based upon his career in the CAD/CAM/CAE and rapid prototyping industry. Prior to joining Solid Concepts, Tom held the position of director of corporate marketing for The MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation. He has also held engineering and marketing positions at 3D Systems, Inc. and Lockheed orporation.
According to Solid Concepts’ president, Joe Allison, "As one of the pioneers of the rapid prototyping industry, Tom’s knowledge and experience with rapid prototyping will help us maintain our position as the technology leader in the industry. In addition to his knowledge of the rapid prototyping market, Tom has extensive experience in marketing a wide rage of engineering software products."
